This program entails art workshops in English oriented towards children, giving them the opportunity to become more involved in contemporary art. Up to 15 children from 5–12 years of age will get to know our current exhibition through child oriented guided tours and subsequent art workshops. Through this program they will learn to apply different art techniques to create their own works of art in addition to working together to create group projects. The workshops will be run by Awanti Seth-Rabenhøj, an assistant teacher at the International School Hanover Region (ISHR). She herself is a mother and is experienced in creating and implementing art programs for children. Visit our kestnerkids page on facebook to stay up to date.

»kestnerkids goes international« takes place on selected Tuesdays from 4.00–5.30 p.m and is intended for children from 5–12 years. The cost of the courses is 5 Euro per child for non-members of the kestnergesellschaft, and children of our members are free of charge. Each course is limited to 15 children, so please sign up to avoid disappointment. »kestnerkids« has it’s own facebook profile.
