contact and arrival

getting here by car

Traveling on the A2 from Braunschweig or Dortmund to Hannover, take the exit Herrenhausen. Along the main thoroughfare towards the city center, then across Königsworther Platz, at the second traffic light turn left into the Otto-Brenner-Straße, direction Steintor. At the traffic roundabout go right into the Goseriede, or immediately use the parking lot to the left of the circular traffic flow at the Klagesmarkt. The kestnergesellschaft is located at the Goseriede 11, to the right of the large »Anzeiger Hochhaus«, a brick building by Fritz Höger from the 1920s. The green dome of the building can already be seen from a distance.

with public transportation
Hannover main train station, exit City / Stadtmitte (not exit Nord / Raschplatz), travel with the tram No. 10 direction Ahlem one stop to Steintor.  The kestnergesellschaft is located at the Goseriede 11, to the right of the large »Anzeiger Hochhaus«, a brick building by Fritz Höger from the 1920s. The green dome of the building can already be seen from a distance.

By foot it takes a maximum of ten minutes from the train station along the Kurt-Schumacher-Straße to Steintor. This street leads away from the train station at a diagonal to the right.  Already after about 100 meters, the dome of the »Anzeiger Hochhaus« may be seen, and the kestnergesellschaft is located to the right, with its facade of green glass and the historical »Jugendstil« elements of light-colored sandstone.
